Happy March everyone,

At long last, an opportunity to meet in person!  Woohoo!

We have an ambitious agenda for our March outing.  First, we will take in some fashion at FIT, then see and smell the roses and other flowers at the annual Macy’s Flower Show then meet for a bite to eat at Andrews Coffee Shop.

There is a bit of walking.  Times are approximate.  The museum is small.  We have allocated an hour to visit and move to the Flower show.  We are also allowing an hour for the Flower show before moving on to lunch. All times are approximate, other than meeting at noon at FIT.

Part 1:  DESIGNING WOMEN: FASHION CREATORS AND THEIR INTERIORS at the   Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Gallery Museum. Few creative fields exemplify the gracious art of living better than fashion and interior decoration. Designing Women: Fashion Creators and Their Interiors is the first exhibition to explore and celebrate the intersection of these profoundly influential and perennially beloved disciplines.
