SPRING CLEANING YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM THROUGH NUTRITION

During the past year of lockdown, while simultaneously binging on junk food and Netflix, eating more comfort foods than usual, taking up the art of baking, zoom cocktail hours with friends…it’s no wonder many of us have gained extra poundage. Knowing what to eat is not only enormously helpful it is empowering. Eating a whole foods, nutrient dense diet supports your immune system and helps to keep you healthy. When we support our body in operating optimally, we not only feel better physically, we feel better emotionally and even spiritually.
In this workshop we will look at how we can boost our immune system through healthy eating and lifestyle. Which foods support immunity, and which don’t? We will talk about foods we might remove and those to include more of.
Every journey begins with a small step, and this workshop is just that. Join Jackie Cohen, FNTP (Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner) and LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), to share your concerns and questions on how to spring clean your diet and honor your body temple in successful ways.
